What We Teach

The Program.

Every lesson at the studio is shaped around the student's specific learning style and personal goals.

Core Studies

Three foundational disciplines.

Op. I

Voice

Private singing lessons for all ages and levels, from beginners to seasoned musicians. Training is offered in classical, broadway, pop (CCM), jazz, and other styles. Voice students middle school and younger receive training in a wide variety of musical explorations including note and rhythm reading, ear training, improvisation, and music theory.

Op. II

Piano

Piano instruction for ages 6 and older, from beginner to intermediate levels. Students discover the joy of making their own music on the ivories, with a strong foundation in music literacy, theory, and music reading. Whether preparing to play another instrument in the future or pursuing piano as a primary instrument, lessons are tailored to each student's goals.

Op. III

Singer–Songwriter

Lessons for singer-songwriters learning to play by chords on the piano while singing their own lyrics. This combined approach helps students accompany themselves and bring their original compositions to life with confidence and skill.

Further Support

Specialized programs & studio tools.

  1. Op. IV

    Musical Theatre & Audition Prep

Specialized voice training for middle and high school students looking to strengthen their voice for the best musical audition possible. Students work on repertoire selection, vocal technique, and performance skills.
  2. Op. V

    Choral Singer Support

Voice lessons designed for choral singers who want to learn their parts and sing well in their school or community choirs. Students build confidence and vocal technique to contribute strongly to their ensemble work.
  3. Op. VI

    NATS Prep & Recitals

Prepare for NATS CO/WY chapter Student Auditions alongside supportive, non-competitive studio recitals. Students challenge themselves musically, cognitively, emotionally, and physically — building valuable stage experience.
  4. Op. VII

    Recorded Practice Accompaniments

Warm-ups and piano accompaniments are recorded and posted as MP3 files on Google Drive after each lesson. Especially helpful for students who don't own a keyboard — they can still practice effectively at home.
  5. Op. VIII

    Foreign Language Diction

Recorded foreign language lyrics assist voice students with Italian, French, German, or other foreign language pieces. Additional support for mastering pronunciation and expression in art songs and classical repertoire.
